Mom, I love your list! Those are all great things.
I agree with Hilary! Great list. didnt have time to comment this week-end on your blog, love the photo of Gabby asleep at the computer. You are a wonderful Grammy and a terrific Mommy to take the night shift!!
Just showed off your poncho to Scarlett. OH BOY, she is at the age where she thinks I know how to do everything, and most of the time I can I can fake it, but this oh no. She is ready to move on from our wonderful long chain and now she is ready for me to show her a little more. You know like a poncho with roses. Oh Lord, time for the truth! Scarlett said How cute to gabby and she said kauute to Phoebe!
Oh, bunnies! I love those little fuzzballs! What are you & Gabby baking there?
Hi Becky!! Hey Danette needs to snap a photo of you dancing around the house to Elvis!! We been working in the yard our weather has been like Spring here our Jonquils(Yankees call them daffodils) are even coming up!
Oh, Danette dont forget B for Becky, Bartelmay, and Bittle!! Hey, Gabbies little apron is to cute!
Kathy, it would be better if I snapped the picture of Gabby, Aunt Hilary and Grammy dancing. My dancing only involves shaking my booty!! You don't want to be seeing that! I only let Gabby see because she's young enough that she'll probably block those memories out!! ;-D
Danette, doesn't it sound like Kathy needs to come up here to reaquaint herself with 4 seaons, not just 2? :)
Becky, I am trying to type while I laugh! Shaking booty is a good thing ,No? I think you look REAL young so booty shaking must be a good thing. Now Danette and I, well, let's just say, "do the hustle". I loved that Disco, but had to pretend to hate it and love Heavy metal, Oh dear what peer pressure! I think we just came up with some great blog material! How is the weather in Illinois? Any more snow?
Oh sweet babies! I love the picture of you and Miss Gabby at the kitchen counter.
Awesome list!

Love your list, Danette. Babies would have been on mine too if I'd had the letter B - I'm a baby addict! Books, bracelets and blue skies are pretty wonderful things too. Have a beautiful week knitting those wonderful creations of yours, Danette!
xo...Kathy
Hi Danette, I've been catching up on reading your posts and just love the pictures of Phoebe...the one of her looking up at the camera is just sooo cute! How could she get in trouble for chewing on a pair of ole glasses? :o)
The poncho turned out beautifully and the roses/leaves add so much to it. Where did you find the pattern for knitted roses?
I enjoyed your list of favourite things mainly because I like a lot of the same things. I also got a good laugh with your reference to saying things in 75 words instead of 5! Do you think we might be related? lol!
Thanks for taking time to visit my blog. I plan on trying the 7 mm dp today. I'll let you know how it goes.
Maybe you girls can teach Aunt Hilary, Gabby and me the hustle!! Ever since I saw Fran Drescher to it on The Nanny, I knew it was the dance for me!
No snow, hallelujah!! Our snow is all gone and for the first time in months, I wore a sweater, no coat to work!!! I'm enjoying it while it lasts!
Sandra~
Phoebe IS cute ~ it's what keeps her alive. She's working towards shredding everything in the house these days!
The pattern for the knitted roses is in Nicky Epstein's book: "Knitted Flowers". One of my favorite books ever!!!
I hope we ARE related. Wouldn't that be fun?!
Good luck with the 7mm's.
As for you ~ Miss Becky ~
The only "hustle" left in me is in my fingers! We'll have to get Kathy up here from Georgia.
[Notice I keep trying any tactic to get a visit from her!}
Um...I recall very clearly a certain blogger shaking her groove thang quite ferociously to "Elvis Elvis." Somebody besides me. Not saying who.
