My Birthday Girl

Today my youngest daughter, Chelsea, is 21 years old. ~~UNBELIEVABLE!~~
How did she get this old & more like it...
HOW DID I GET THIS OLD?!!
Chelsea is quite a busy young lady these days.
She meets herself coming and going ~
{I tell her to wave as she passes herself by!}
She's a waitress & cosmetology student.
Plus Mommy to Princess Gabriella.

I am very proud of her and admire her endless energy, constant tenacity, and all around good attitude.

Not to mention she's just darn cute!!!:)
So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELSEA~
I sure do love you!

This is just a pretty little hair bauble I gave the future hairstylist for her birthday.

It was made by Theresa at Pumpkin Glass, an absolutely FANTASTIC bead shop here in Morton. The rose and 3 large leaves are vintage German glass beads. Isn't it gorgeous? Just the thing in that beautiful red hair! {Which I prayed for, by the way, during my pregnancy with Chelsea. My mother~in~law has that lovely hair & I wanted it for my daughter as well. Like I said... we just have to remember to ASK!}.
"Chidren are a gift from God; they are His reward." Psalm 127:3 The Living Bible
No matter how old they get, they are still our "chidren". Our constant, forever reward in this life!
Thank you Jesus, You have blessed my mightily!

Hey Gal!!
Such a pretty young lady!! Tell her one of your crazy bloggy friends says Happy Birthday!! Does she crack on you about blogging like my 20, 23, and 28 yo daughters do? They all have facebook or myspace, so I don't know why they're crackin'!!! LOL

Remember, you're not old, you're just like fine wine...aged to perfection!!

Have a fantastic Friday!!

Thanks from one "fine wine" to another! She can't believe how much time her nearly computer illiterate mother now spends on the computer!
This old dog still has a few new tricks after all. Some day she'll look back on me at this age and time and realize how "young" I was!

Happy Birthday Chelsea!! Love the red hair, it is so pretty that I actually thought it could be colored(stupid me!) Chelsea may have Grandma's hair color but she defiantly has Mom's warm beautiful smile. I love beads, they are a family member to stained glass(to me). Now that Gabby is a baker, will we see another wonderful cake creation, for mommies birthday? have a fun filled day,Chelsea!

Danette, while scrubbing the toilet, I was thinking about your comment , about when Chelsea looks back when she is our age. God just put a a memory in my head(because he has such a great sense of humor). I had to laugh out loud. Do you remember what use to drive you nuts about your Mother? You use to say,"it drives me nuts when my Mother takes a bite of food, then realizes she needs to say something and waves her fork at me, because she cant speak with her mouth full." How funny!! gee, if that was the worst thing you could come up with, your Mother was doing pretty darn good. Actually I always thought your Mother was really cool!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane about what I used to say about my mom. I do remember that now that you mention it. How FUNNY!
You're right, my mom WAS always pretty cool. She still is!
She'll be 66 years old in July & still works full-time at the Peoria Crisis Nursery {TOUGH job} and helps my sister raise her two teenage boys.{even TOUGHER job!} What a WOMAN!!!
Love to you all today!

Danette, my great-grandma wanted me to have red hair, but my mom prayed for blonde (then I go & dye it brown!) Chelsea's hair is gorgeous & kinda makes me wish for red hair myself!

Danette, I pray for many many more years of fork waving for you!

Hey, uh, just stopped at Ewenique Yarns at lunch looking for Debbie Bliss Pure Cotton. All the pink was gone. Wonder who hogged it all? wink, wink! (I found some chenille & another cotton, both in pink, to make cute washclohths with.)
Hugs!
