Please Pray for Phoebe

I need all of you to pray for my sweet little dachshund, Phoebe. She's 13 weeks old today & I just took her to the vet for shots. I've had to leave her there because she had a bad reaction. Her whole face, especially her lips, and one paw are TERRIBLY swollen. They've given her a couple of injections to counteract the reaction but have to watch her for a while & make sure her airway stays open. Right now her heart & lungs sound good. Please pray ~ I don't handle doggie emergencies real well.
Thanks everyone.
I'll keep you posted.

UPDATE
Thank you so much for those of you who have seen this and prayed. My animals are very precious to me.
Phoebe is home now and most of the swelling is gone. Her ears are still thick & swollen and the lips are still a little puffy, but she's eating, drinking and being a little like her rowdy self.
Just pray the swelling is completely gone & no other symptoms occur. The vet wants me to call if there is ANY swelling left before he leaves at 6p.m.
Once again ~ thanks.
Also pray for Scott {my hubby}. He just came home from work sick. This is a man who the last time he had the flu & missed 1 day of work, they looked at his record and realized he hadn't taken a sick day for over 7 years. Since his stomach surgery in November he hasn't had the flu ever. The type of surgery he had leaves him unable to ever vomit again. If this is the flu, it could be a bit of a rough go.
On tuesday of last week my 8 year old dachshund, Sophie, had to have 8 teeth pulled. She just spunked up yesterday. I'm ready for some peace & good health all the way around here!
I pray blessings on the rest of you today.

~UPDATE #2~
God is so GREAT!!!! Phoebe is almost back to normal & Scott was only home for a couple of hours then was well enough to return to work. Your prayers worked. When we come together in the Name of the Lord we can move mountains!

My sweet friend Kathy who lives in Georgia {we were BEST friends in high school}, sent me Lam. 3:22 in response to my prayer request. It soothed my soul. Thank you dear, dear friend.

"But this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope;
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
"The Lord is my portion," says my soul,
"therefore I will hope in him." Lamentations 3: 21~24

Thank You Lord that You ARE my portion. You are water to my parched soul & I will ALWAYS have hope in YOU!

Lord, touch Baby Phoebe right now. You care so much about each one of your creations. Heal Phoebe quickly and completely so there are no temporary or permanent side effects from these shots. Also, give the vet wisdom to know what the exact casue of the reaction was and show him if there are other medicines that would bother her. Thank You Lord, that we can come to You, believing that You hear us and answer our every cry. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Amen, Becky! I knew something had to be wrong because you have been silent, Danette. I will keep your prayer request in my prayers, just rub those puppies on the head from me and nurse your boy friend back to health. Our God is able, and because of our faith, he will answer. it is of the Lord's mercies that we are consumed, because his compassion's fail not. Lam.3:22

Oh Danette, I just read this now, and I hope Phoebe is continuing to recover! Please give both pups a pat from me.

And I hope your husband will be OK. At least if he's home, you might be able to convince him to rest, no?

Everyone at our house (furry and otherwise) will say prayers for all of you. Take care.

Glad your baby is getting better and will be praying for your hubby (your other baby).

Just finished the craft room and I'm beat. Will have to rest and get caught up on blog reading. I'm behind.

I'm just reading your post this evening and am so happy to hear both hubby and pups are doing so much better.

I don't handle animal emergencies or sickness well as I am also very attached to my animals. Your updates were so encouraging and what a blessing to have a friend send you such a timely scripture.

Hugs to you after having such a long day!

Dearest Dannette,
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones to find another warm-hearted person like you like some of those on my list of friends.. Thank you for accepting our friendship...
We are also offering prayers for your husband Scott. Glad that he easily recovered from flu.
And also to your cute Phoebe. Nice to know that she's fine now and well. Thanks a lot for sharing us your other side of the world..
Hugs from China,

So glad to hear that both are doing better. It's hard seeing those close not feeling well. Awful.

Sounds like your husband had the same surgery as my husband did a few years ago. Glenn had a hiatal hernia and it was awful for him before the surgery. He has done well afterwards and is so glad he had the surgery. I'm just glad that he doesn't get sick too often either because he can't get "sick" anymore.

Crossing my fingers that everyone is on the mend. :)

Thanks to all of you for your outpouring of love, prayers & concern!
I'm O.K. dear Kathy ~ just silent today due to a migraine I've been trying to fight. The stress of yesterday and todays rainy/cold weather here are reeking havoc on my body.
The main thing to me though is that my little Phoebe is completely back to normal today, Sophie is good too, and Scott feels fine. As long as they're all good it's still a good day for me!:) I just have that nagging fibromyalgia nonsense that makes stress {and weather flipping around} take a toll on me.
Hopefully I will be ready to post on my blog tomorrow. Right now I'm going to hit the heating pad while Miss Gabby is napping.
Love to you all!

Hooray for Sophie, Phoebe, and Scott! Oh a big Hooray for Gabby, what I would give for a nap!! Get that heating pad cranked up and let the miracle of Becky's prayer take away that nasty old headache and let that heating pad melt away your pains. looking forward to some great photos of yarn creations, family, and furry family! Love you! Kathy

You girls are ALL so GREAT!
I am headache free this morning & everyone {furry & likewise} is completely healthy. Thank God!
I appreciate the response from all of you. What a comfort to know I have a whole set of friends to turn to in my hour of need.
Hugs and love to each and every one of you today.
I may come up with a new post today or I may wait until tomorrow. Gabby is gone for a bit & I will have a quiet house to myself {something that doesn't happen too often}. So I may just spend the time resting with some yarn and a crochet hook in hand. I have a new audio book to start today. So tootles for now dear ones!
