Here's the finished lacy leaf hat. I always love the way a hat knitted in the round looks once it gets put on the double pointed needles for the crown decreasing! Looks like something that's ready for take off. How fun is that?! And these beautiful harmony wood needles from Knit Picks are a feast for the eyes.
The lovely model is my oldest daughter, Hilary.

Hilary, I bet this hat would look even better with cable needles stuck in it! :-D
Ha-Ha!!! Don't you just love it that Hilary worked part of a day not knowing she had a cable needle stuck in her hair. Now I know I've made a REAL knitter out of her!:)
Hilary was very clever to be prepared. You just never know when a cable needle will be needed!
