Thanks for sharing all your family Christmas pictures! They are great, I know the one picture had to be your Dad, cause I would know him any where. You and Scott look great!! The pictures of Gabby on Christmas morning are precious. Isnt Christmas morning fun with little ones? I wake up before the kids do and make lots of noise so they will wake up. Love you, Kathy
Kathy~ I love it that you wake up early & make noise to wake your kids up. My Dad use to do the same kind of thing somewhere between 2 & 3a.m on Christmas morning!
I'm so excited that Gabby has a Cabbage Patch!! I loved mine when I was little! Hooray to Aunt Bridgie for knowing what little girls love! (And hooray to Grandpa who obviously knows how to open the tricky boxes!)
The kettle is always on and the air is filled with the sweet sound of laughter and the scent of roses. So~ come along, relax with a nice cup of tea, and maybe a bit of knitting, while we settle in for a good visit!

Welcome to my Etsy Shop~Where Somethings Always Blossoming
It was a little budding rose, Round like a fairy globe, And shyly did its leaves unclose ~ Hid in their mossy robe, But sweet was the light and spicy smell ~ It breathed from its heart invisible. Emily Bronte

~~ REJOICE! ~~
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Phillipians 4:4 & 5
You love roses ~ so do I. I wish the sky would rain down roses, as they rain from off the shaken bush. Why will it not? Then all the valley would be pink and white And soft to tread on. They would fall as light as feathers, smelling sweet; and it would be like sleeping and like waking, all at once! George Eliot
This December I celebrated my 25th anniversary with Scott, the love of my life! I have two beautiful grown daughters, Hilary who is 23 and Chelsea who is 20. I also have a gorgeous granddaughter, Gabriella, who was born to Chelsea in April of 2007. I have a very lively household consisting of both daughters, a granddaughter, three dogs, two cats, and four birds, and of course my husband!
I love to knit and crochet and teach others these skills as well. I enjoyed teaching both skills to my daughters and I'm living for the day Gabby is old enough to learn!
One of my favorite things to do while knitting or crocheting is listen to audio books.
The most recent excitement for me has been starting up my Etsy shop a couple of weeks ago.
I love life and enjoy my family and friends! Guess I should mention, I'm also a major animal lover, especially where dogs are concerned.
And to hit the high notes: at age 9 I became a big sister, at 15 I met my husband, at 16 I became a born again Christian,at 18 I became a hairdresser, at 19 I got married, at 21(and 23) I became a mother, at 32 I became a bank teller, then a vegetarian and at 42 I got to be a Grammy!
It was not in the Winter our loving lot was cast; It was the time of roses ~ We pluck'd them as we pass'd! That churlish season never frown'd on early lovers yet: O no ~ the world was newly crown'd With flowers when first we met! 'Twas twilight, and I bade you go, But still you held me fast; It was the time of roses ~ We pluck'd them as we pass'd! Thoman Hood
