It's A Wonderful Life!

Tis the Season for all things magical! Like watching it snow from the window, riding in a sled for the first time, making big cookie messes with Mommy, and having special friends over to crochet, drink hot cinnamon tea, and cover with plenty of moochy kisses! (Gabby LOVES Becky who always has stickers in her purse and lots of patience for being crawled all over!).

We are enjoying the first days of this Christmas Season. The beauty and joy of it all come to life when seen through the eyes of a child. What a blessing to have a little one in the house again! ...
Pudgy little hands patting down cookie dough, chubby tummy in footie pajamas, wonder and excitement over snow (she doesn't have to clean off cars and shovel the stuff yet), singing and dancing to Christmas music, and running off with the ornaments. Ah, It' A Wonderful Life!

"Behold, children are a gift from the Lord..." Psalm 127:3

" Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us." Luke 2:15

Author's preface to the first Christmas book:

" I have endeavoured in this ghostly little book, to raise the ghost of an idea, which shall not put my readers out of humour with themselves, with each other, with the season, or with me. May it haunt their houses pleasantly, and no one wish to lay it."

Their faithful friend and servant,
Charles Dickens

May you all enjoy this Holiday Season as it begins to unfold. May you be blessed with the simple joys around you and find the true Gift of Christmas in your hearts!
P.S. I hope you all enjoy the new look of my blog. It was designed especially for me by Renee of Thompsondesigns.esty.com. Thanks Renee, I Love it!

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful. ~Norman Vincent Peale

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ~Charles Dickens

Love to all of your family!

P.S. I love you, too, Gabby!

I love the quotes! We miss our playmate today. Gabby has talk about "Becky, Becky" all day long:)

Oh, I miss my playmate, too! Especially after the day I've had. I just know a moochie kiss would make it all better. Guess what I discovered on one of my dirty socks? A sunshine sticker & a Hershey Kiss sticker! Stickers are 50% @ Hobby Lobby this week, so of course, I stocked up. I seem to be going through them quickly of late. ;-)
Love to you from me
