I can't resist showing off my little Indian princess! Gabby absolutely loves to wear a bindi. They're little self stick ones that "Tinoy Uncle" brought back last Christmas after his visit home. And , no, that's not a type-o, in India the word "uncle" comes after the name. This is a special blog post for Tinoy, so he can see Gabby smiling at him across the miles. He's away right now going through a cardiology fellowship in Wisconsin. Hugs and kisses to you Tinoy---your family here misses you! Enjoy your upcoming trip to India. P.S. Bring more bindi's!
I love the bindi! She really is such a doll. I bet she has changed so much since I saw her last! Ivory says a new word atleast daily. We need to get them together again. Love Carey
Gabby, You look adorable in the Bindi!!You are a very special girl, and I love you!! I miss you here in Wisconsin!!More bindis and bangles for you when I come back! Tinoy Uncle

The kettle is always on and the air is filled with the sweet sound of laughter and the scent of roses. So~ come along, relax with a nice cup of tea, and maybe a bit of knitting, while we settle in for a good visit!

Welcome to my Etsy Shop~Where Somethings Always Blossoming
It was a little budding rose, Round like a fairy globe, And shyly did its leaves unclose ~ Hid in their mossy robe, But sweet was the light and spicy smell ~ It breathed from its heart invisible. Emily Bronte

~~ REJOICE! ~~
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Phillipians 4:4 & 5
You love roses ~ so do I. I wish the sky would rain down roses, as they rain from off the shaken bush. Why will it not? Then all the valley would be pink and white And soft to tread on. They would fall as light as feathers, smelling sweet; and it would be like sleeping and like waking, all at once! George Eliot
This December I celebrated my 25th anniversary with Scott, the love of my life! I have two beautiful grown daughters, Hilary who is 23 and Chelsea who is 20. I also have a gorgeous granddaughter, Gabriella, who was born to Chelsea in April of 2007. I have a very lively household consisting of both daughters, a granddaughter, three dogs, two cats, and four birds, and of course my husband!
I love to knit and crochet and teach others these skills as well. I enjoyed teaching both skills to my daughters and I'm living for the day Gabby is old enough to learn!
One of my favorite things to do while knitting or crocheting is listen to audio books.
The most recent excitement for me has been starting up my Etsy shop a couple of weeks ago.
I love life and enjoy my family and friends! Guess I should mention, I'm also a major animal lover, especially where dogs are concerned.
And to hit the high notes: at age 9 I became a big sister, at 15 I met my husband, at 16 I became a born again Christian,at 18 I became a hairdresser, at 19 I got married, at 21(and 23) I became a mother, at 32 I became a bank teller, then a vegetarian and at 42 I got to be a Grammy!
It was not in the Winter our loving lot was cast; It was the time of roses ~ We pluck'd them as we pass'd! That churlish season never frown'd on early lovers yet: O no ~ the world was newly crown'd With flowers when first we met! 'Twas twilight, and I bade you go, But still you held me fast; It was the time of roses ~ We pluck'd them as we pass'd! Thoman Hood
